As in the last meeting with prof.hasina khatoon we decided on following research based approach for the project deliverable …so the pm guided us about the nature of a research based project .
Further more he insisted on catching up pace as due to this change in projects nature .
Further more we decided we would divide the work within the group and try to complete the document by tuesday and then have a meeting before submitting it .

Actions Taken

In the meeting we discussed the new scope and the new architecture with prof.Hadina Khatoon as per our meeting
with the project manager .

We discussed the various issues realted to the policy and the error handling .

Professor Hasina khatoon advised us to research on the following :
1 >> LINUX error list
2 >> Can we generalize the errors . Is there a pattern for it ?
3 >> Known and unknown errors.

She further more insisted that we should have a clear vision regarding our scope
that outlines the following parameters :

1 >> what is the scope of self healing.
2 >> what can be possible .
3 >> what we will cover in our project.
4 >> what we will not cover in our project.

As per the new discussions we would have to update the SRS.
In the end we decided on a day ( tuesday ) to hold meetings on a weekly basis.

As this was the first introductory meeting of the both advisors . Prof.hasina khatoon outlined the main objectives of the final year project and all its procedure.She stressed as this is a student project , students will follow the deadlines of the milestones addressed to them and not the Unhuman Production deadlines.
The SRS was discussed to clear out all the viewpoints.
It was decided that the our portion of the project will be independent in terms of the GUI from the PAL os so that a final presentable form of the project is visible in the end.
The final deliverable would be an API that will have the fucntions that will perform the following :
>> repair
>> uninstall
>> install
Further more it was also decided that the integration of our project will be done with the over all system if time is available.
